Wiesbaden, Germany - July 25, 2018 - comforte has announced a change of its legal form from a German limited liability corporation (GmbH) to a private stock corporation (AG) . With the entry in the German Trade Register, the organization is now referred to as comforte AG.
As an AG, comforte will have the added flexibility required for continual, rapid growth in the coming years. This growth will be driven primarily by comforte’s new enterprise data protection solution that has huge market potential and is poised to become a leader in the data-centric security market.
Successful implementations of this new solution have already taken place and many more are on the horizon. Alongside its rapid expansion in the data-centric security market, comforte will remain fully dedicated to its traditional business of providing solutions for HPE NonStop.
The change in legal form is one of many steps comforte is taking to position its internal structures for expansion. In response to current trends, comforte has already begun to recruit new talent across the globe in management, sales, marketing, and R&D. Furthermore, converting to an AG will facilitate capital acquisition and will open the door options like a future IPO.
This transition will not affect business operations in any way and comforte’s global subsidiaries in the US, Singapore, and Australia will retain their existing legal forms.
